Ride my bike here every other week lol. Everything a DIYer like me expects in an ACE. But with this little swag I purchased today. I feel like a member of the team here now lol(photo). Better yet points finally work in app. So I don't need to forget those 5$ coupons anymore.

I had a great experience at the Old Town Alexandria Ace Hardware. The store was clean, well-organized, and had a welcoming atmosphere from the moment I walked in. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, courteous, and genuinely seemed happy to help, which made the visit enjoyable. What really stood out was the knowledge of the staff. I asked one employee about a very specific item, and without hesitation, he knew exactly where it was. It saved me time and showed that the team really knows their inventory and takes pride in helping customers find what they need. It’s refreshing to shop at a hardware store where customer service is clearly a priority. Between the helpful, knowledgeable staff and the positive attitude of everyone working there, this location has earned my five-star rating. I’ll definitely be coming back for future home improvement projects.

I had such a great experience at Ace Hardware, all thanks to an employee named Brian! I came in trying to figure out the right materials for a home improvement project, and honestly, I felt a little overwhelmed by all the options. Brian noticed I was struggling and immediately stepped in to help. He was so patient, walking me through the different choices and explaining the pros and cons of each one in a way that actually made sense. He asked good questions about what I was working on so he could point me toward exactly what I needed, instead of just handing me the most expensive option. It was clear he genuinely wanted to make sure I left with the right materials for my project, not just a quick sale. Customer service like this is hard to find these days. Brian went above and beyond, and it turned what could have been a stressful shopping trip into an easy, even enjoyable one. If you're heading to this Ace Hardware and need help, ask for Brian — he clearly knows his stuff and genuinely cares about helping customers get it right. Thank you, Brian, for your patience and expertise! It made all the difference.

Wonderful and helpful staff every time I visit. This store always seems to have exactly what I need, and the team is consistently friendly and welcoming. The location is convenient, and the atmosphere feels much more like a community neighborhood store than a typical retail chain. I genuinely enjoy coming here and appreciate the great customer service. Keep up the excellent work!

Needed some items purchased at the last second on a Sunday afternoon (had no idea on what I was even looking at..!) and called the shop to see if they could help me. Brittanni was amazing in providing all the assistance she could, reaching out to her Sales Coordinator, and then guiding me from the purchase to the pickup. Huge shoutout to Brittanni and Jacob for making my life a lot easier and doing it with kindness and courtesy!!!
